2015.09.01 Final --Close to Picket Lake

Vance here. John traveled 53.1 miles today, vertical up totaling 1673 feet, and down totaling 1923 feet.  The screen shot below from Google Maps shows John's progress today.

I've circled Pinedale (upper left hand corner).  It's John's next stop with internet capability, I guessing he won't get there until late Thursday.

Zooming onto John's ending spot (42.348750, -107.921155)  the map shows a couple small lakes, one of which is Picket lake.  I doubt it contains any water this time of the year...  The picture below is near Picket lake and was copied from a couple's blog.  They rode a tandem bike on the CDMBR.
